“This Honduran COE 2nd-place winner came to Prodigal through a connection with Angel Arturo Paz (their previous COE winner, El Itacayo). Patricio Navarro submitted this lot to Cup of Excellence and Angel forwarded a sample from a small portion held separately from the auction. The cherries were hand harvested, rested in sealed bags for three days, pulped, held in bags for three more days, washed four times, and dried 18 days on raised beds. Despite the semi-washed process, the cup is immaculately clean.”
