Akha Ama Coffee is a Chiang Mai social enterprise founded in 2010 by Lee Ayu Chuepa that sources and roasts coffee from indigenous highland producers in northern Thailand. It works on direct-trade terms with Akha and other hill-community farmers and is known for a light-roast profile, with PONLAMAI as its signature expression. The company runs cafés in Chiang Mai, a roastery in Mae Rim and an international presence in Tokyo.
