“Jorge Rojas is a Colombian producer with a third place finish at Colombia's Cup of Excellence, and Sweet Bloom have now bought several lots from him. This is the first Sidra they have offered: a variety first identified in Ecuador, thought to be a typica-bourbon mutation but genetically close to Ethiopian landraces. Grown at 2,050 masl in Tolima and fully washed. Cherry sweetness dominates the aroma; in the cup blackberry and Assam tea sit inside a deep sugarcane base. Named separately from the shop's earlier Chiroso lot from the same producer.”
