Highlights
“Lot 126 is the washed version of Gesha Village's Gesha 1931 from the Oma block in Bench Maji, western Ethiopia, grown between 1,931 and 2,049 metres on virgin-forest brown-red loam under a mix of indigenous shade trees. Rachel Samuel and Adam Overton planted the estate from the original Gesha 1931 selections and sell this lot direct; harvest here is 2025. Substance cups it a few hours after roasting: floral with rose and lemon when hot, then sweet jasmine, peach and apricot with violet as it warms, and a clean jasmine-apricot finish when cold that reads more like a Panamanian Geisha than an Ethiopian one. 100 g at €35, out of stock as of 7 November 2026 with a roast date of 19/10/2026.”
