“Loma Redonda is Efrain Jimenez Abad's farm in Fundochamba, Quilanga, in Ecuador's Loja province, with coffee planted at 1,750 metres. Abad learned the work from his grandparents, has farmed coffee for more than thirty years, and now runs the land with his wife, still experimenting with how the lot is handled. This 2026 washed release pairs Typica Mejorado, the Pichincha-bred hybrid that also produced Ecuador's Sidra, with Yellow Bourbon, whose high fructose content pushes citric acidity and ripe fruit. Rogue Wave roasts it for both filter and espresso.”
