Tips & Preparation
- Coarser grind to lower extraction due to increased brew time.
- Lower water temperature for a more forgiving extraction.
- The Hario Switch is forgiving for mystery coffee.
- The body is round and full with medium-high weight and sweetness.
Recipe Steps
Close the switch, Rinse the filter, and prepare the 90°C water.

Start your timer and pour 200g of water in a circular motion, working from the outside in.
Keep the switch CLOSED for 1 min, to allow immersion brewing.

OPEN the switch to allow water to drain.
Once most of the water drains, CLOSE the switch again.

Pour an additional 100g of water, bringing the total to 300g.
