Filter Over Ice
"A refreshing filter coffee brewed with hot water over ice, resulting in a concentrated, flavorful, and less bitter drink."
Matt Winton
Tips & Preparation
- Adaptation of the five pour method.
- Slightly more coffee and finer grind than the original five pour method.
- Replacing half of the brewing water with ice.
- Water temperature: 93°C.
- Five pours of 40g each.
- Finer grind slows down the flow and helps with extraction.
- Variations:
- Cold Brew: 75g coffee, coarse grind, 750ml cold filtered water, 1:10 ratio, brew in fridge for 12+ hours.
