Tips & Preparation

Plastic V60 recommended for heat retention; preheat other materials well.
Grind size: 24 clicks on a C40 (720 microns), or 12-13 on a Baratza Encore.
Best dose range: 15-25 grams (adjust grind size or pulse count if outside this range).
Create a divot in the coffee bed using a thin cylindrical object (chopstick, pin, brush handle) to ensure even saturation with minimal compression.
For darker roasts, lower the water temperature to reduce extraction.
Target TDS: 1.35-1.45

Pour 50g of water for the bloom and spin aggressively.

Pour 50g of water.

Second bloom: Pour to rid the rest of the CO2.
