Tips & Preparation
Key notes:
- Use Aeropress clear or any Aeropress.
- Use a flow control cap (Prismo).
- Dose: 14-15g (14g in their cafe).
- Water: 240-250ml.
- Grind very fine.
- Steep for 5 minutes.
- Plunge slowly.
- Water temperature: 100°C.
- Initial agitation is important.
- Cover the Aeropress to retain temperature.
- Variations:
- Adjust dose based on preference.
- Can manually swirl for agitation.
- Steeping time adjustments: avoid over 7 minutes to prevent bitterness.
- Initial agitation adjustments based on kettle flow rate.
Recipe Steps

Add 14g of coffee to the Aeropress and level the bed.

Pour 240ml of boiling water (100°C) into the Aeropress, agitating aggressively.

Cap the Aeropress and let it steep.

Begin plunging at a slow, constant rate.
