10g Orea Z1 Recipe - High Clarity
"A two-pour Z1 recipe using 10g of coffee, featuring a fast bloom and a slow, gentle second pour for high clarity."
Brian Quan
Tips & Preparation
- Grind finer than normal (20-30% finer than for 15g dose).
- Lower temperature to 93°C.
- Use a fast bloom pour to maximize acidity.
- Use a slow second pour (2-3 ml/s) to unlock clarity.
- Adjust grind size and pour speed to compensate for channeling or astringency.
- The Z1 logic: faster pour for acidity, slower pour for clarity.
- Variations: Two fast pours for sweetness, slow pour for a balanced cup.
