"This lot comes from the Aponte Indigenous reservation in Northern Nariño, Colombia, through PROCAAL, supporting around 200 Inga community producers. Coffee is cultivated on small family farms under 1 hectare on volcanic slopes from Doña Juana volcano at 2150 masl. Mixed varieties including Caturra, Típica, Colombia, Geisha, and Pink Bourbon are handpicked, floated for sorting, then fermented twice—12 hours in cherry followed by 12 hours in sealed tank post-depulping. Dried 15-25 days on raised beds, this coffee represents both cultural heritage and sustainable livelihood for the Inga community."
