"A prestigious Jamaica Blue Mountain Grade 1 from Clydesdale Estate, grown between 910-1700 meters in the parishes of Saint Andrew, Saint Thomas, Portland and Saint Mary. The Blue Mountain trademark is limited to coffee grown at these elevations, and only the most desirable defect-less lots receive the Grade 1 designation. This results in an elevated coffee experience without discernable bitterness or acidity and a strong floral profile. The Clydesdale wet-mill is the most modern in Jamaica with water recycling technology, while the dry mill in Kingston employs over 600 women for hand sorting. Funds support projects for over 30 schools. This lot features soft acidity with cool caramel and chocolate undertones, plus hints of floral and fruit notes. Medium roasted on April 18th."
