"The Dilgo plot at Mima Estates sits at 1780 masl on the slopes of Baru Volcano, planted with 70% shade and volcanic soil. Named after founder Eugene Altieri's grandchild's nickname, this was the first Geisha lot planted on the farm. Harvested January 14th 2025, the coffee underwent flotation, initial drying on African beds to 45% humidity, then 2 days in Grain Pro bags with Mosto from another lot for fermentation. Final drying occurred at 18°C and 50% humidity for 35 days. The Altieri Geisha lineage traces back to seeds purchased from the Peterson family of Hacienda La Esmeralda, who reintroduced Geisha to the world in 2004."
