“The Kiangoi washing station sits at Gichugu in Kirinyaga, founded in the 1960s and working with growers from the Kiangoro and Karinga villages. Cherries are hand sorted, fermented 8 to 12 hours, soaked 16 to 18 hours and dried on raised beds for about two weeks; the station is Fairtrade certified.”
