“Walnuts' first Burundi, and by their own account the one that made them want more. This is Red Bourbon from the Gisha washing station in Ngozi, northern Burundi, fully washed and grown at 1,620 metres. The cup is bright, juicy and clean, with red fruit leading and enough clarity to stay refreshing rather than cloying. The roaster notes it was inexpensive relative to comparable greens and says they are not sure they can offer better at the price. Light roasted for filter and espresso.”
