“Kamavindi is a Kenyan coffee estate in Embu, on the south-eastern slopes of Mount Kenya, founded in 1958 by John Njiru Mbature and Anna Rwamba and now run by the third generation across some 10,000 trees. Cherry is hand-picked, sorted and dried on raised beds in full sun for up to seven days with regular turning. Natural processed and roasted medium at strength 3, it cups as raspberry and red wine depth under elderflower florals.”
