“The people of Kura belong to the Sidamo culture and maintain ancient traditions. Kura producers are near the forest and have retained many original indigenous coffee varieties. This washed coffee is fermented 48-72 hours at Aleta Wondo washing station and dried 15-21 days on solar beds. This lot supports producers preserving coffee cultivation against the spread of environmentally harmful eucalyptus and khat.”
