“Wote Konga is sourced from family-owned farms surrounding the Konga Cooperative in Ethiopia’s celebrated Yirgacheffe region. Founded to support smallholder producers in the Gedeo Zone, the cooperative now represents more than 1,500 members and is part of the Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (YCFCU). Grown at 1,750–2,300 metres above sea level, this coffee benefits from Yirgacheffe’s cool climate and fertile soils. The traditional washed method highlights the coffee’s inherent brightness and delicate aromatics, with drying on raised beds preserving its clean, expressive character.”
