“Every so often, the freezer gives up a little secret. We found this coffee tucked away in our green coffee freezer, still vacuum-packed and quietly resting for at least three years. Curiosity got the better of us, so we decided to roast it and see what time, cold storage, and a little patience had done. In the cup, it still carries the unmistakable elegance of Nyeri: delicate notes of blueberry tea, soft citrus, and a refined sweetness that lingers gently. It is not loud or showy. Instead, it is graceful, composed, and quietly beautiful. This lot comes from 1,126 family-owned farms delivering coffee to the Ichamama Factory, a wet mill in Kenya's celebrated Nyeri region, nestled along the fertile foothills of the Aberdare mountain range.”
