“A newer producer for Traffic, part of the wave of Ethiopian projects they went after, and one they credit to Christopher Feran's work in the country. Also spelled Nguise Kayimo, this is a family operation in Bensa: a 15-hectare farm run by Nguisse Keyamo with his four brothers and two sisters, while his second eldest son, Tarekegn, supervises the processing facility. Nguisse is in his late forties and has been recognised through the Ethiopian Cup of Excellence, with a focus on anaerobic processing. Traffic roasts it light, and the cup is unbelievably bright: pink grapefruit, blood orange, black cherry.”
