“Traffic's Halloween Candy began three years ago as a 'dumb idea on the surface' — literally a bag of Halloween sweets — and it keeps coming back by demand. Jairo Arcila, Brayan Alvear and Edouardo Perreira contribute Arara, Castillo and Pink Bourbon from Colombia and Brazil, built on a natural base with yeast-inoculated co-ferments, so that coffees which were odd on their own turn into something cohesive. Roasted light, it lands on jujubes and chocolate.”
