Highlights
“This rare natural Batian comes from El Alisal, an estate that historically formed part of the extensive La Elvira hacienda and has been managed by the Jaramillo family for generations. Batian is a hybrid of SL28, SL34, Sudan Rume, N39, K7, SL4, and the Timor Hybrid. The cherries are washed and selected through flotation, then fermented in sealed plastic tanks for 10 days. After fermentation, they are spread on African beds under direct sunlight for only 4-6 hours, then moved inside polytunnels to dry slowly for approximately 30 to 32 days. The result is remarkable depth with vibrant red grape, floral hibiscus, and silky almond richness. Featured in the Right Roast Coffee Club 2026 August Edition.”
