“Finca Sumava de Lourdes is a 68-hectare farm in Lourdes de Naranjo, Costa Rica's West Valley, run by Francisco A. Mena, a pioneer of the country's micro-mill movement and founder of exporter Exclusive Coffee. Harvest is separated by plot, variety and picking day, and only ripe cherry is taken; the fruit pre-ferments in tanks before moving to raised beds or covered patios. This lot is Starmaya, a newer F1 hybrid of Marsellesa and an Ethiopian/Sudanese landrace that combines productivity and cup quality with leaf-rust resistance. Temple sells it as a Reserve in 6 oz boxes, on pre-order for the 11 November 2026 roast: fruit punch, dried mango, pistachio.”
