Highlights
“Reko is a washing station in Yirgacheffe that takes its name from the nearby mountain - Afaan Oromo for 'challenge'. Around 850 smallholders deliver cherries there each harvest, which runs from late October to mid-January. The coffee is pulped with a traditional Agard machine, fermented 36-48 hours and dried for 10-12 days on raised African beds.”
