“This microlot is the first of four coffees Tandem will feature this year from Karamo Coffee, the quality-driven exporter working the high-altitude districts of Bensa and Bura in Sidama. Agena station assembles deliveries from about 500 smallholder farmers whose plots sit as high as 2,500 metres, growing local heirloom varieties. Tandem calls the cup clean, crisp and complex: stone fruit and dense tropical flavours, white florals, juicy acidity and coating sweetness.”
