Highlights
“Isaac Obua's coffee grows on the slopes of Mount Elgon, the extinct volcano straddling the Uganda–Kenya border, where volcanic soils make one of the country's most interesting arabica terroirs. The lot brings together three varieties that define Elgon's genetic heritage — Nyasaland, SL14 and SL28 — and a washed process that keeps the cup legible and aromatic. Caramel and milk chocolate over a soft orange acidity, dense, sweet and gourmand, roasted light but built for espresso. 86 points, 200 g at €13.90.”
