“El Velo is one of the farms of Hacienda La Esmeralda, the Peterson family estate in Cañas Verdes where the modern Geisha story started: in 2004 a 100% Geisha lot won Best of Panama and reset the auction record. This lot comes from the Portón parcel, above 1,700 m, picked on 4 March 2026 and taken to the estate's Palmira station, where the cherries dried slowly for 38 days on raised beds. Natural process, Geisha, 91 points, roasted for filter: strawberry ice cream, hibiscus, raspberry and lemon, a delicate body with medium acidity. 100 g at €52.90.”
