Highlights
“Hacienda La Esmeralda is where the modern Geisha story started: in 2004 a 100% Geisha lot from the Peterson family estate won Best of Panama and reset the auction record. 'Lino' is not a variety — it is the name the estate gives a specific lot, isolated from particular parcels to chase the most interesting expression of the terroir. 6HC is a Geisha dried as a controlled honey, the cherries kept with part of their mucilage, and the cup comes out floral and bright: nectarine first, then a juicy raspberry acidity, dried pineapple sweetness and a rose finish. 91 points, filter roast. Sold as a 60 g box of four 15 g doses at €55.90.”
