Highlights
“Granja La Esperanza is the family operation Rigoberto and Luis Herrera turned into one of Colombia's reference specialty farms, and Cerro Azul is its Geisha specialist: a cool, humid slope in Valle del Cauca where cherries ripen slowly between 1,700 and 1,900 metres. This lot is hybrid washed, a split fermentation before drying that keeps the variety's florality intact while firming the structure. Orange and jasmine lead, strawberry follows, and a subtle eucalyptus and clementine lift closes it out. Refined, but genuinely accessible. 90 points, roasted light for filter. Harvest 2026, 100 g at 32.90 EUR.”
