Highlights
“This coffee comes from Gedeb in Ethiopia's famed Yirgacheffe region, sourced from family-owned farms organised around the Banko Gotiti Cooperative, established in 2012 as a separate entity from the larger Worka Cooperative. Most growers work very small plots of only 100-150 coffee trees, mixing local improved varieties like Certo and Wolisho with native forest varieties that remain unclassified, all referred to as Ethiopian Heirloom or Landrace. The result is a classic washed Ethiopian tasting of ripe peach and sweet honeysuckle.”
