“Aquiares is a Costa Rican legacy estate on the slopes of Turrialba volcano that has produced coffee for more than a century and houses a community of 1,800 people. Skylark bought from the farm in its first year and now plans at least one Aquiares coffee year-round. This Esperanza lot was anaerobically fermented and then dried as a natural at 1,200 metres, cupping 87 points, with the roaster describing tropical fruit and golden rum. The green lot is sold unroasted, in 1 kg and 10 kg bags.”
