“Senalda is the darkest roast Sightglass makes - darker than Banner Dark - built for espresso and taken close to, but not into, second crack. The blend draws on Latin American coffees, washed and combined for a traditional dark-roast profile: baker's cocoa, molasses and toasted pecan. It is named after the winding road in the hills between the Hollywood Bowl and Mulholland Drive, where a Lloyd Wright house once belonged to a coffee drinker who bragged about cutting back from 20 cups a day to 10.”
