“This is September's first coffee from the Mwirua Farmers' Cooperative Society, established in 1954 and running several factories around Kirinyaga, Kenya; Gathambi is the factory this lot came from. SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11 and Batian grow between 1,700 and 1,900 metres, and the cherry is disc-pulped, density-graded, fermented for six to eight hours, washed, soaked for another 16-18 hours and dried for up to two weeks on raised beds.”
