“September's fourth coffee from Lamastus Estates: a washed Geisha off El Burro in Potrerillos, Dolega. The Lamastus family has been growing coffee in Panama for four generations since 1918, and over half of the farm lies inside the Volcán Barú National Park — a protected ecological reserve of virgin cloud forest, young volcanic soils and cold, foggy nights at 1,800 masl. Early 2026 harvest. The cup is incredibly clean, with jasmine aromatics, green grape sweetness and an intense lime acidity, light in body and classic in profile.”
