Highlights
“Finca La Reforma sits high in the Apaneca Ilamatepec range of Santa Ana, El Salvador, where the Alvarez family has grown and exported coffee for more than a hundred years through their own mill, El Borbollon. About seven years ago they planted a small plot of Geisha alongside established Bourbon, a bet on organoleptic range, and this natural lot belongs to that newer programme. Whole cherries are sorted and floated, then dried on African beds for 18 to 23 days.”
