Highlights
“Kolobus is a 16-acre coffee farm in the Kaisagat location of Trans Nzoia County, Kenya, founded in 2021 by Limmo Kuruswo and Edward Mahieu. The husband-and-wife team works on a direct trade basis and runs the estate on a high canopy of indigenous trees, named after the Colobus monkeys that live in them. Limmo and Edward visited Sango's store in 2025 and shared their story; this traditional washed lot of the native Kenyan varieties Ruiru 11 and Batian is the result, showcasing the elegant profile of Kenyan terroir with sweet citrus, juicy fresh tomato and a warm black tea undertone.”
