“In the Cusco region of Calca, Norico Perez Vargas runs Finca Don Gary alongside her husband Gary, building a coffee project shaped by family and ambition. Both grew up around coffee in Combapata, but it was the birth of their son Neydan that pushed them toward specialty production. At 1858 MASL, Finca Don Gary benefits from a cool, stable microclimate shaped by its proximity to untouched forest. This washed Marsellesa highlights their growing precision, with a focus on clean fermentation, careful drying and consistent lot separation. This 60kg lot is our first release from the farm through Caravela.”
