Highlights
“This lot comes from multiple producers in the remote, high-altitude Cutervo region of Cajamarca, Peru. Farmers historically tended livestock and worked as coffee pickers in Jaen and San Ignacio, bringing seeds back to their own plots over time. Caturra, typica and bourbon varieties thrived in the cooler climate, and coffee is now central to local agriculture. In the cup we find red fruits like cherry and apple, alongside nougat, brown sugar and creamy milk chocolate.”
