“Juan Quilla Laura began cultivating bourbon trees on his 2 hectare farm, Finca Quillabamba, for eight years. However, he has been working in coffee since 1984 as a day laborer, helping to pick and process cherries on other farms. The Puno region is very remote with extreme terrain, however, it is also home to some of Peru's best coffee.”
