“Reshad Ababulgu is a second-generation farmer in Agaro, Jimma, who took over his father's land twenty years ago; the plot has stayed in the family for sixty years. Thirteen years back he replanted it with modern JARC varieties such as Gibirinna 74110, and since gaining his own export licence in 2022 he no longer sells cherry to the Duromina cooperative, which lets him keep more of the value under his own name. The lot is a white honey Ethiopian, roasted for filter, with mandarin orange, wildflower honey, baked apple and a jasmine lift.
