Kukurucho Honduras Geisha

“Rony Gamez owns and runs the five-hectare farm Kukurucho in La Paz, Honduras, which doubles as a seed bank supplying project producers with varieties to diversify their plots. For this Geisha only fully ripe red cherries are hand-picked, floated for up to fifteen minutes to sort out low-density fruit, then pulped without water and dried slowly on covered raised beds over 25 days. The cup is an airy Geisha with more body than the variety usually shows: peach, orange blossom honey, cranberry and rose, with almond and marzipan in the finish.
