Hambela is grown in rich volcanic soil by smallholders who tend the trees the traditional way, with no fertilisers or pesticides in sight. Guji has only recently stepped out of the shadow of its better-known neighbours, Sidamo and Yirgacheffe, but its high, steep terrain and generous rainfall are quickly earning it a reputation all its own.”
