Arley Vargas works alongside his father Alexander, continuing a family tradition built around quality, sustainability and innovation, and the La Piragua wet mill also serves neighbouring coffee-growing families as an important processing hub. Women from the community play a central role in harvesting and cherry selection, and the family keeps experimenting with regenerative farming and innovative processing.”
