“Queen City has bought coffee from Don Senel Campos and his son Allan in Costa Rica's Brunca region for more than five years, and visited the family's farms earlier this year. This release comes from Finca La Toboba, where Allan's anaerobic fermentation is run with unusual precision; the coffee is then dried with the fruit layer intact. The result layers fermentation-driven sweetness over the natural acidity of the Villa Sarchi variety, with cherry cordial, sweet clementine and an Aperol spritz lift.”
