“Bambito Estate has been in the Amar Sittón family for five generations, since patriarch Alberto Sittón Ríos took it over from his father in 1945; it is now run by his granddaughter Priscilla Amar Gonzalez with her brother Rafael and her son Ivan. The farm sits high in the cloud forests of Volcán Barú between two national parks, and two ridges split its terrain into distinct microclimates.
