“Geisha Salad is Proud Mary's Deluxe blend, built from washed and natural processed Geisha grown by producers the roaster has worked with since 2011 and 2012: the Hartmann family in Santa Clara, Panama, and Nahun Fernandez, Ovidio Gomez and Benjamin Paz in Honduras' Santa Barbara region. The Geisha variety reached Panama from Ethiopia in the early 1960s and only drew world attention after the Peterson family of Hacienda La Esmeralda entered it in the 2005 Best of Panama. Proud Mary bought its first Geisha from the Hartmann family back in 2011.”
