“Since 1904 Santa Felisa Estate has been guided by the Meneses family; siblings Anabella and Antonio now carry it forward in the Acatenango Valley, where cool mountain breezes and warm days concentrate sugars in the cherry. Fruit is handpicked at peak ripeness, rested through an extended natural fermentation that builds depth, then dried slowly on raised beds under even airflow. The lot is Sudan Rume, a rare heirloom traced to South Sudan's Boma Plateau that predates Bourbon and Typica, genetically wild and notoriously low-yielding.”
