Highlights
“The Karindundu factory sits on the fertile slopes of Mount Kenya, 1 km from Karatina in Nyeri County. It operates under the Barichu Cooperative Society, aggregating coffee from 513 smallholder members (349 male, 164 female) who farm at 1,700–1,900 meters above sea level. The deep red volcanic soils and cool temperatures slow cherry maturation, producing dense, high-quality beans. This lot is composed of SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, and Batian varieties, processed with the cooperative’s rigorous washed-process standards.”
