“In 2007 Leon and Aideen Christianakis bought the run-down Acacia Hills Coffee Estate in the forested highlands of Ngorongoro, northern Tanzania, and rebuilt it into an award-winning producer of high-altitude, shade-grown coffee. The estate runs on agroforestry, with bio-char application and rotation cycles used to protect soil health and forest biodiversity, and every lot is cupped on site through the harvest. This one is 100% Kent, a classic arabica the estate grows alongside Geisha, Pacamara and SL28, and the washed process keeps the cup clean and crisp.
