Highlights
“Las Lajas is the family micro mill of third-generation producers Doña Francisca and Oscar Chacón, set in Cumbres del Poás on the foothills of the Poás volcano in Costa Rica's Central Valley. The Chacóns measure the brix of their cherries to pick at peak sweetness, and this natural lot is then dried slowly on patios. The result is a lush, fruit-forward cup of watermelon, raspberry and papaya over a deep black cherry finish.”
